  • A facial is a skin treatment that involves cleansing, exfoliating, and nourishing the skin to promote a clear, well-hydrated complexion. It can include a variety of procedures such as extraction, masking, high frequency, and LED light therapy.

  • It is generally recommended to get a facial every 4-6 weeks. However, this can vary based on your skin type, concerns, and goals. Consulting with me can provide a personalized recommendation.

  • To prepare for a facial, avoid using any strong skincare products (like retinoids or exfoliants) for a few days prior to your appointment. Arrive with a clean face and wearing SPF if possible and communicate any skin concerns or sensitivities to me.

  • If you experience redness, irritation, or any other adverse reaction after a facial, contact me for advice. I can recommend soothing products or steps to help calm your skin. Avoid using any harsh products until the reaction subsides.

  • For optimal results, I recommend scheduling waxing appointments every 4 to 6 weeks. Regular waxing helps maintain smooth skin and reduces hair regrowth over time.

  • Avoid tanning, swimming, and using exfoliating products for at least 48 hours before your waxing appointment. Also, do not shave or trim the hair too short before your appointment. If you are using products containing retinoids, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, or other exfoliating agents, we recommend discontinuing their use at least 5-7 days before your waxing appointment to avoid skin irritation or damage.

  • After your waxing appointment:

Avoid hot baths, saunas, and tanning for at least 24 hours.

Refrain from applying heavy lotions or perfumes to the waxed area.

Exfoliate the waxed area gently after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs.

Moisturize your skin regularly to keep it soft and hydrated.

  • It's normal to experience some redness or irritation after waxing. To soothe the skin, apply a cold compress and avoid tight clothing. If the irritation persists, apply an aloe vera gel or a fragrance-free moisturizer. If you have any concerns, don't hesitate to contact me.

  • Oily skin: Gel or foam cleansers that can help control oil production.

Dry skin: Cream or oil-based cleansers that provide hydration.

Combination skin: A balanced cleanser that targets both oily and dry areas.

Sensitive skin: Gentle, fragrance-free cleansers to avoid irritation.

  • You should reapply sunscreen every two hours, or immediately after swimming, sweating, or towel drying, to maintain optimal protection.
